Ryan Cook Joins Citizens Gas as Counsel in Legal Department
INDIANAPOLIS – Ryan Cook, a 2007 graduate of the Indiana University School of Law, has joined Citizens Gas & Coke Utility as a counsel in its Legal Department.
Cook will report to John Whitaker, Senior Vice President, Legal and Corporate Affairs. Cook began working at Citizens Gas as a legal intern in January 2005 and became a full-time employee in the Legal Department in May 2006.
In addition to earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from IU, Cook has a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from Butler University. Prior to attending law school, Cook was a practicing pharmacist for nearly five years.
During law school, Cook volunteered as a tutor for first-year law students, helping them with their legal writing courses. He also mentored and tutored several law students from China.
A native of Warsaw, Indiana, Cook is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
