Michael Strohl Promoted at Citizens Gas
INDIANAPOLIS – Citizens Gas & Coke Utility announced today that it has promoted Michael Strohl to Vice President, Market Development. Strohl has been Director of Treasury for the utility.
Effective January 1, 2008, Strohl will be responsible for the sales and marketing function as well as enterprise wide strategic planning at the utility. “Michael Strohl's financial background, strategic thinking ability and outstanding work ethic will be critical assets in the utility's growth initiatives,” commented William Tracy, Senior Vice President, Operations.
Strohl has assumed increasing responsibility for financial and strategic planning at the utility since joining Citizens Gas as Director of Treasury in 2000. Prior to joining Citizens Gas, Strohl held positions of increasing responsibility at several companies including Manager of Financial Analysis for Magnequench International, and Vice President, Investment Banking for City Securities Corporation.
A native of Shelbyville, Illinois , Strohl has an MBA from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Illinois State University.
Strohl's community service involvements include serving on the Board of Directors for Noble of Indiana, and Marriage Ministries, Inc., and previously serving on the Board of Directors of Traders Point Christian Academy.
