Curtis Popp Promoted at Citizens Gas

INDIANAPOLIS – Citizens Gas & Coke Utility announced today that it has promoted Curtis Popp to Director of Treasury. Popp had been Manager of Midstream Assets for the utility.

Effective January 1, 2008, Popp will be responsible for overseeing cash management across all divisions of the utility and will serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial banking, investment banking and credit agency relationships. “Curtis Popp's outstanding communications and leadership skills will serve the company well as he helps ensure the financial health and integrity of the utility,” said John Brehm, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the utility.

Popp has served in positions of increasing responsibility with Citizens Gas since joining the company in 1995 as a Project Engineer. He was promoted to Delivery Service Support Manager in 1999 before becoming Manager of Gas Control in 2001.

A native of Billings , Montana , Popp has an MBA from the University of Indianapolis , a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Carroll College and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Montana State University . He also holds an Indiana Professional Engineering license.

Popp's community service involvement includes several years coaching basketball for the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO).
