Beth Glidden Named Director of Information Services at Citizens Gas
INDIANAPOLIS – Beth McCartney Glidden has been named Director of Information Services at Citizens Gas & Coke Utility.
In her new assignment, Glidden will be responsible for directing companywide information technology efforts. She also will retain responsibility for the utility's quality improvement process, which utilizes the nationally acclaimed Baldrige criteria for performance excellence. Glidden will report to Andy Proctor, Vice President of Customer and Information Services at the utility.
Glidden has been with the utility since 1981 in positions of increasing responsibility, including most recently serving as Director of Quality, Planning and Learning. She also served seven years as Manager of Data Processing Operations for the utility.
A native of Uniontown, Pa., Glidden has a bachelor of science degree in Mineral Processing Engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis. Her professional and community affiliations include ten years of service on the Board of Directors for Midwest Contingency Planners and previous board service for the Humane Society of Indianapolis. She also has been a United Way volunteer.
