Citizens Gas Sponsoring “Be WinterWise" Energy Fair This Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS – Citizens Gas will hold its annual Be WinterWise energy fair this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its headquarters at 2020 N. Meridian . The event will feature information about energy conservation, free smoke alarms, drawings for free furnace checkups and plenty of refreshments.

“Although we expect heating bills to be a little lower this winter, we are still encouraging customers to look for ways to conserve energy in their home. The Be WinterWise event is a great opportunity for customers to receive the latest information about energy conservation and home heating safety,” said Greg Sawyers , Director of Customer Service at Citizens Gas.

Customers attending the event also will have the opportunity to sign up for the Budget Billing Plan, which spreads the cost of winter heating into 12 equal monthly payments. Information about how to apply for energy assistance also will be available.

WTLC 106.7 FM radio will be broadcasting live from the event. Free hot dogs and refreshments will be served.
