Citizens Gas Recognized with American Gas Association Awards

Dave Busch, Director of Underground Storage for Citizens Gas & Coke Utility, was one of 19 natural gas executives nationwide recognized recently with a 2005 Award of Merit from the American Gas Association (AGA) at the group’s annual Operating Conference in Boston.

"The winners of the Awards of Merit have demonstrated the dedication and service that brings natural gas safely and reliably to more than 68 million customers," said AGA President David Parker. "Their accomplishments are vital and appreciated."

Citizens Gas also was one of 50 AGA member companies to receive the AGA’s Accident Prevention Award. The Accident Prevention Award Certificates are given each year to member companies that achieved a total Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rate of injuries and illnesses below the industry average for their company size and category.
