Working Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: $66,350 – $94,800
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00a.m. – 3:30p.m
Responsibilities:
- This position requires a hands-on working supervisor responsible for scheduling and completing all maintenance for the contracted site facilities.
- Supervise the Electrical, Instrument and Maintenance shop personnel.
- Maintain work schedule for Shop personnel.
- Enter work orders into Computer Maintenance Management System, (CMMS)
- Work closely with customers.
- Supervise work on and maintain high voltage system which includes: 13.2K transmission lines, load center breakers and substations
- Perform electrical installation and construction activities.
- Install electrical equipment such as controls and circuits.
- Perform general electrical preventive and corrective maintenance in the customer's buildings.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair: motor control centers, load centers, motors, PLCs
- Be involved in developing preventive maintenance program for all high voltage equipment on site.
- Be required at times to work in confined spaces, awkward positions such as cramped quarters, from ladders and from a bucket truck.
- Complete assigned PM's and reactive maintenance repairs requiring, but not limited to the following:
- Chilled water equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines, heat exchangers, etc)
- Steam system equipment (turbines, condensers, PRVs, etc)
- Plumbing/Pipe Fitting, welding
- Testing and troubleshooting of plant equipment
- Working knowledge of all electrical and instrumentation components
- Rigging, lifting and alignment
- Boilers
- Follow all environmental, health & safety policies/procedures and ensures proper housekeeping in plant
- Participate in appropriate safety meetings and other required training/development programs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalence required.
- Five years or more of supervisory experience preferred.
- High voltage (13.2k) knowledge and/or experience required.
- Masters License or journeyman card or equivalent experience required.
- PLC (SLC 500, PLC 5) and RS logic experience preferred.
- Computer skills: Lotus notes, CMMS, MAXIMO and Microsoft applications preferred
- Ability to keep detailed records of activities performed.
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and ladder logic.
- Good interpersonal, self-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and safely in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- This is an exempt position and although it may require long hours it does not pay OT.
- Must possess a valid Indiana driver's license
